Questions About Your Account

Short answers about creating an account, signing in, verifying your email, privacy and what happens if you close it.

FAQ

How do I create an account on Flipbooks AI?

Click the account icon and choose Sign Up. You can register with email and password or sign in directly with Google OAuth. Email/password sign-ups receive a verification email to confirm the address. Google OAuth users are auto-verified on first sign-in.

How do I sign in to my account?

Enter your email and password, or use the Google button. Signing in and creating an account are separate actions: a sign-in with an address we do not recognise fails rather than quietly opening a new account, so nobody can create accounts on your address by guessing at it. Your session persists in the browser, so you stay signed in between visits.

What if I forget my password?

Click "Forgot password" on the sign-in form and enter your email. Flipbooks AI sends a password reset link to your inbox; the link is valid for one hour. Clicking it opens a secure form where you set a new password and are signed in automatically.

How do I verify my email address?

New email/password sign-ups receive a verification email automatically. Click the link inside to confirm your address. Until you verify, sign-in via email/password is blocked. Google OAuth sign-ins are auto-verified, so no extra step is required.

Can I sign in with Google instead of email and password?

Yes. The Google OAuth button on the sign-in form opens a popup, you select your Google account, and you are signed in instantly with no password to remember. Google-authenticated accounts skip email verification because the address is pre-verified by Google.

What does the account page show me?

Your current plan and what it includes, the email and display name your account was created with, and a shortcut into your flipbook library. From the same page you can reach pricing, the blog, the legal pages, support and sign out. It is a dashboard rather than a settings panel: apart from the Delete Account card, nothing here changes your flipbooks.

Can I change the email on my account?

Not from the app. If you signed in with Google, the address comes from your Google account and follows whatever you change there. For an email and password account, write to contact.flipbooksai@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will move it for you.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Delete Account card at the bottom of this page and follow the three-step confirmation: you review what the account holds, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm your password or your Google account, and everything is erased on the spot. Accounts younger than 72 hours cannot be deleted yet, so come back once yours is older. If the account has ever held a paid subscription, email contact.flipbooksai@gmail.com instead and we will close it for you.

Is my account data private and secure on Flipbooks AI?

Credentials never reach our own database: sign-in runs on Firebase Authentication, so passwords are stored and hashed by Google rather than by us, and Google sign-in uses OAuth 2.0. We do not sell or share your personal data, and we do not read the documents you upload.

What happens to my flipbooks if the account is closed?

They go with it. Every flipbook, its reader link and any embed of it stop working, the PDF files and assets are wiped from storage, lead submissions collected through your forms are erased, and there is no restore afterwards. Download the originals and the offline HTML copies from your library before deleting the account if you want to keep them.
