Flipbooks AI Terms and Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and the person who runs Flipbooks AI (https://flipbooksai.com), whose details are near the end of this page. They apply when you visit the site, create an account, publish a flipbook or buy a plan. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Flipbooks AI, and "you" means the person or organization that uses the service.

Accepting These Terms

By creating an account or buying a plan you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if it is higher. If you use Flipbooks AI for a company or another organization, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm that you are allowed to do so. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

The Service

Flipbooks AI turns PDF files into interactive flipbooks that you can customize, share with a link and embed in other websites. You can use it on the Free plan or on a paid plan. The Free plan has limits, including how many flipbooks you can publish and a small Flipbooks AI mark shown on your flipbooks. What each plan includes is described on our pricing page, which is part of these terms.

Your Account

You can sign up with an email address and a password or with a Google account. Accounts and sign in run on Google Firebase, which stores your account data. The information you give us must be accurate. Keep your login details safe and do not share your account with other people. You are responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own use, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Plans, Prices and Payment

• Prices. Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars.
• Single payments. Each purchase is a single payment that gives your account a plan for one month or for twelve months, depending on what you choose. Nothing renews on its own: when the period ends, you decide whether to buy again.
• Upgrades. While a paid plan is active, you can move up to a higher plan with the same billing period by paying the difference. The new period starts on the day you upgrade.
• When a plan ends. Your account returns to the Free plan and its limits. Your flipbooks are not deleted.
• Payment providers. Payments are handled by our payment providers on their own secure pages. We never receive or store your card details.

Refunds and Withdrawal

Our Refund Policy explains when we refund a payment and how to ask for it. It applies to every customer in every country. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, as that policy explains.

Your Content

Everything you upload, such as PDF files, images, logos and audio, remains yours. To run the service, you give us a worldwide, nonexclusive license, free of charge, to store, copy, convert, display and distribute your content, only as needed to provide Flipbooks AI to you and to the people you share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it, and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights. A published flipbook can be opened by anyone who has its link or an embed of it. Password protection limits who can open a flipbook in our viewer, but it does not encrypt your files, so do not rely on it for highly confidential documents.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Flipbooks AI to:

• publish content that is illegal or that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
• publish sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or terrorism, or content that harasses or threatens people;
• deceive people, for example with phishing pages, fake offers or lead forms that pretend to come from someone else;
• spread malware, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• collect personal data without a legal basis, or send spam;
• resell or share access to a paid plan without our written permission.

We may remove content or restrict an account that breaks these rules, as explained below.

Reporting Illegal Content

If you find content on Flipbooks AI that you believe is illegal, email contact@flipbooksai.com with the link to the flipbook, an explanation of why you think it is illegal, your name and email address, and a statement that you make the report in good faith. We review every report and act on it without undue delay. When we remove or restrict content, we tell the person who published it why, and they can reply to ask us to review the decision. Authorities and users can reach us at the same address, in English or in Spanish. This process follows the EU Digital Services Act.

Data You Collect With Lead Forms

If you add a lead form to a flipbook, you decide what it asks and what you do with the answers, so you are responsible for that data under data protection law, and we process it only on your behalf. You must tell your readers who you are and why you collect their data, and you must have a legal basis to do so. For this data we:

• process it only to store it, show it to you and provide the features you use;
• keep it confidential and protect it with the security measures described in our Privacy Policy;
• use Google and Cloudflare as subprocessors to host it;
• help you answer requests from the people the data is about;
• delete it when you delete the flipbook or your account.

Our Intellectual Property

The Flipbooks AI software, design, brand and logo belong to us. You may not copy, modify or reuse them, or try to extract the source code, without our written permission. Images from our guides can be reused under the conditions of our Image License.

Availability and Changes to the Service

We work to keep Flipbooks AI available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruptions or errors. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If a change takes away an important part of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for, you can ask us to refund the unused part of that period.

Suspension and Account Deletion

We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if it breaks these terms or the law, or if the law requires us to. Unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we tell you why and give you a chance to reply.

You can delete a Free account yourself from your account page once it is at least 72 hours old. If you have ever bought a plan, email us from the address of your account and we will delete it within one month. Our Privacy Policy explains what we delete and what we keep.

Liability

If you use Flipbooks AI as a consumer, we are responsible for the service as set by the consumer law that applies to you, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under it.

If you use Flipbooks AI for a business, we provide the service as it is. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, for gross negligence or for causing death or personal injury.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. We publish every new version on this page with its date. A change never reduces what you get during a period you have already paid for.

Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of your home country. If you use the service for a business, the courts of Barcelona, Spain, have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved by email.
