Flipbook Storage Usage

Your Storage

Everything your flipbooks store, measured from the files themselves: how much of your plan it takes, what weighs the most, and what you can clear to make room.

Storage Overview

Free Up Space

Each suggestion names the flipbooks or files it is about and the space they take. Nothing is deleted until you select it and confirm.

Storage By Type

What kind of files take your space, from the files themselves: unused files are counted on their own, whatever kind they are.

Flipbooks By Weight

Every flipbook with everything stored for it, heaviest first. Sort by any column, search by title, or switch to single files.

Storage Growth

How the files you keep today added up, by the day each one was uploaded. A file you deleted is not in it, so the line never goes down.

Questions about your storage

What counts toward my storage?

Every file stored for your flipbooks: each PDF you uploaded, a PDF that replaced it, and the pictures, logos, social previews, music, videos and audio clips you added in the editor. A template's background picture counts too, because creating from a template copies it into your account. Your settings, titles and the details readers leave in lead forms do not count.

How is my storage measured?

From the files themselves. The Usage page reads every file your account holds and adds up their real sizes, so the number is exact to the byte rather than an estimate kept on the side. It is measured when you open the page, and it stays up to date as you upload and delete in the same tab.

How much storage does each plan include?

Free includes 1 GB, Starter 10 GB, Plus 20 GB and Ultra 40 GB. If a plan ends, the account goes back to the Free allowance, like every other limit.

What happens when I go over my storage?

Nothing is deleted and nothing is unpublished. Every flipbook stays online and readers notice nothing. What stops is adding: a new flipbook, picture or video is not uploaded until your files fit your plan again. You can keep editing everything else.

Can I still replace a file when I am over the limit?

Yes, whenever the new file is not bigger than the one it replaces. Swapping a PDF for a compressed copy, or a background picture for a lighter one, always works, because it never adds to what you store. Deleting is always allowed too.

Is there also a limit per file?

Yes, and it is the same on every plan: a PDF can be up to 50 MB, a background image up to 10 MB, a logo up to 2 MB, a social preview up to 5 MB, an audio track up to 15 MB and a hotspot video up to 50 MB. Your storage is the total of all of them together.

What are unused files?

Files your account still stores that no flipbook shows anymore: what is left of a flipbook deleted before deleting also cleared its files, an earlier version of a picture, or a PDF you replaced. Deleting them changes nothing a reader sees. Files uploaded in the last day are never listed, because an editor that is still open may be about to use them.

Does deleting a flipbook free its storage?

Yes. Deleting a flipbook, from your library or from this page, deletes its PDF and every file it used, so the space comes back straight away. A file that another of your flipbooks also uses is kept.

Why does the growth chart never go down?

It is drawn from the files you keep today, by the day each one was uploaded. A file you deleted is no longer there to be counted, so the chart shows how your current files added up, not a history of your account. The projection under it uses the same files, so it is the pace of what you kept.

How do I get more storage?

Free up space with the suggestions on this page, or move to a plan with a bigger allowance on the pricing page. Your flipbooks and their links stay exactly as they are either way.
