Can I upload an Excel file directly?
Not yet, and it is better this way. Export the sheet to a PDF in Excel first, which takes about twenty seconds through File, Export, Create PDF. A PDF fixes the layout, so the flipbook looks the same on every phone, tablet and desktop instead of reflowing differently depending on the screen.
How do I stop my table splitting across pages?
Use Page Break Preview in the View tab. Excel shows blue lines where it plans to split the sheet and you can drag them, so a product family or a category stays together on one page. Set the print area first, then repeat your header row so every page still makes sense on its own.
Will wide columns be readable on a phone?
They will if you prepare the export. Choose landscape, keep the scale above about seventy percent, and split a very wide table rather than squashing it. After that, readers pinch to zoom and pan around the page, which handles a detailed table far better than a scrolling web grid does.
Do formulas still work inside the flipbook?
No. A flipbook shows the finished view of the sheet, not the live workbook, so the values appear but the formulas behind them do not recalculate. That is usually the point: you are sending a price list to be read, not a model to be edited, and your working file stays private.
Is the Excel to flipbook converter free?
Yes, completely free. There are no watermarks, no page limits and no cap on how many flipbooks you publish. Branding, clickable links, password protection, sharing and analytics are all included, so a quarterly price list costs the same as a one page rate card, which is nothing.
Can I add clickable links to product codes?
Yes. Add link areas over any part of the page, so a product code opens that item on your website, an email address starts a message to your sales desk, and a footnote jumps to the terms page. Links added in Excel before exporting are carried through in the PDF as well.
How do I update prices after sharing the link?
Change the sheet, export a new PDF, and republish the flipbook. Everyone who has the link sees the current version the next time they open it, with nothing to resend. Putting the revision date on the cover page makes it obvious which version a reader is holding.
Can I keep a price list private to one customer?
Yes. Put a password on that flipbook and share it only with the buyer it belongs to, and turn off downloading if you would rather it was not saved and passed on. The file is hosted securely, so a negotiated list is not sitting in a public folder waiting to be found.
